Default Drunken Mastery - A first and original build

First off please do not claim this build as your own :P its my brainchild lol :P I'd like to share it with you guys though... its a radically different build than what you see everyday (which was what I was trying to do). The original thread that it was posted was here:
here its not advertising just stating the original thread for the sake of it.

build prof=W/A
str=16
tact=16
name="Drunken Master"
desc="Weapon set #1: Candy Cane Melee weapon
Equipped Tactics helmet
Runes used: superior strength and superior tactics
[skill]desperation blow[/skill] (Drunken Blow)
[skill]desperation blow[/skill]
[skill]thrill of victory[/skill]
[skill]signet of malice[/skill]
[skill]Bonetti's Defense[/skill]
[skill]victory is mine[/skill]
[skill]dolyak signet[/skill]
[skill]healing signet[/skill]

Note: there are double desperation blow because Drunken Blow is the exact same skill as desperation blow.

Strategy
Use the Doylak signet (you can replace with or add balanced stance), follow up with drunken blow and desperation blow keep using them while you have knock down immunity (these skills causes knockdown). Give your opponent many conditions then you can ViM for your energy and health back. Thrill of Victory is a good inbetween move to use since you will most likely be of higher health than your target. (ViM and condition remover ensures this)
When you have conditions on you use the signet of malice to get rid of them. Bonetti's defense is another energy gainer + blocker.
Thats right folks... not weapon mastery needed... a good sword or axe like the candy cane series are good... or you can use your extra attribute points into weapon mastery.. not suggested though if you have the CC weapons.

Comments anyone?

You can't have 2 attributes with 16.

Indeed - u can have 16 strength and 15 tactics or the other way around.
But for what is this build for? PvP cannot be the use of 2 sup runes gets ur health too low and with dolyak sig u are a sitting duck for degeneration.

For farming - no AoE dmg...

For tanking - 2 sup runes isn't too good... -150 health hurts.

So before i make any more comments - what is this build for?

Hmm i want to say 2 things
1-Maybe original,but not 100% because factions is on 28 and only preorder know about builds for now.
2-Hmm i dont find this A so immportand i mean your using only 1 skill.And im sure you can du it without it.

But nice build in a special way.

lol sorry about the attribute dis.
16 tactics
14 strength
I was thinking of that off the top of my head.
Strengths would be weapon flexibility. Condition giving out and just something no one would expect. Would you change from a sword to axe to hammer to daggers? :P
Mostly this is an attempt to bring out those skills that no one uses at all and use them to thier full potential.
1- farming doesn't have to have AOE
2- this is mostly a 1v1 build. Conditions are random and varied. Stances not only stop you from being knocked down they also give bonuses (if you change doly. with balanced the you are immune to crits)
The reason why your hp doesn't matter so much is that you will be beating down on your target so much it doesn't matter. ViM recharges, all attack skills are actually higher dmg and if your blinded or conditioned you can use the signet to remove them.

btw. Drunken Blow is too cool of a name not to base a build around

AND, you get to discover the secret trick: If you drink five or more dwarven ales before using drunken blow, it doubles the damage.

This is basically a gimmick build; like he said, drunken blow is a sweet name, and no other warrior build works with 0 in weapon mastery.

Actually, there are Tactics based builds that don't require any points in swordsmanship. I've used Max Tactics and Strength with Riposte, Deadly Riposte, and Desperation Blow. Dolyak Sig negates the knockdown of desperation blow.

I thought it just made your sword look bigger.

Lol.. Yeah, after I read through your build closely, I realized that.
You don't have the two ripostes, but the concept is the same.

I use Firefox to capture web pages and read them at work during my break, so I had planned on reading your build later. When I did that, I was like "Doh!"
